Daiseys and Cubs

We accept completed project donations of blankets and afghans.  We ask that all donations of blankets be machine washable, and in good condition.  The shelters and foster homes generally wash large quantities of clothing and blankets, and they often get tattered in time.  These children move sometimes quite a bit, and we love sending them items they can carry through their journey!

Please use the PayPal account to send monetary donation.  Any denomination is welcomed, and appreciated

What we need is your time and talent crafting afghans of any size and style, hats & scarves for children (all ages) and any other items you wish to donate to these children and families. Join us knowing someone needing a warm touch will feel the love you put into your item(s).

We ask for:

• One word of encouragement
• One wonderful pattern to pass
  on to others

Our handmade items are created, each stitch with love and joy, to pass along the message that someone cares.

Sometimes just knowing a complete stranger created a beautiful hand knit or crochet item just for you is enough to brighten your days.

With the economic challenges many of us face, people simply do not have the resources to donate completed quilts or afghans. Not to worry, Daiseys and Cubs solicits donations of material goods to supply to our volunteers making it no cost to volunteers. What great fun putting together the colors for an afghan or quilt from the donations received. Challenging at times, but as more people find out about Daiseys and Cubs, more donations are received and our yarn room stays stocked with brilliant colors.
